My task list stops muttering
Hmmm… jobs like free time

Couch in the kitchen
Looking at the refinished floors
Took twenty-five years

Mistake in thirties
Leads to floor redo and drudge
In your late fifties

Lost haiku vacuumed
Beloved scrubbed couch leaves the house
