Craft libations flow

I grabbed the branch thrown

Time’s grip dissipates
Useless clocks feel the brush off
As we let life flow

Our do-nothing day
We spoke few words in passing
Tranquil, snaillike house

Christmas Day arrives
Our effort now ripped paper
We blinked, it’s over

Christmas Eve with friends
The thought we get these moments
Is the perfect gift

With only days left
The Christmas finish line waits
We plot our last steps

Voice of winter screams
With the holidays brewing
And we juggle both
