Icy Commute

The snow turns to ice
As cars glide across the glass
My car knows better

Snow Thoughts

Logic tells us no
But we want school to be closed
It’s not, we proceed

Travel Day

We left the mountains
A cold, windy welcome home
Showered in snow flakes

Cloudy Day

The grey sky held back
The sun’s vicious fire laugh
If just for a day

Temperature Limits

Summer’s humid scorch
Extreme like our arctic freeze
We dodge the fresh air

Summer Heat

When I was younger
I don’t recall burning days
Maybe I missed them

Windy March Day

Wind pushed the water
It held it’s fan near the shore
And blew summer back

Spring Storm

The yuck washed away
In the year’s first booming storm
Friends shared the moment

This is January

It finally came
A memory locked away
Winter’s wind sliced back

Opposite of Winter

Escape to indoors
Water droplets block the view
Basking in “fake” air
