Midday entertainment

Our normal steps up
Cat is clearly in cahoots
Traps me on the couch

Her feral comment
Catapulted at our team
Nope, that will not stand

We changed Monday’s plans
We yell wrong trivia takes
From our snuggly couch

The year feels askew
With a time pause at Easter
Soon, the clock restarts

Uptown is dying
Even with the empty stores
