As she packs her dorm
We concoct her own cocktail
The old people steer

A simple phone call
Amid the holiday spin
As words fused, time stopped

Shocking happy hour
My Bobbsey twin is moving
See road trips ahead

The cat tiptoes past
All the Hanukkah candles
No torched fur this time
