Assumed our car positions
Caught our last glimpses

The landscape was known
As we drove west from Cleveland
Welcomed by old friends

Music rides through air
It picks you up and brings you
Inside someone’s head

I need to see more
A corner, hill or highway
They bait me, I bite

A zoo near Dublin
Animals on show for us
And we are for them.

The cave pulled us through
We meandered through worn rock
We became water

Vacation visions
Crumble on the page when the
New plans wage battle

Pulled off Interstate
The roads slowed down for dogs to
Wonder who we are

An artist creates
Personality drippings
And transforms a house

We had a vision
The plan was a shallow fraud
But was good enough
