Shattered Dreams

Collapse on Fridays
Despite the dreams of free time
Slumber wakes me up

Thursday Dinner Mishap

Floor smeared with pizza
We were pulled into Lucia’s
And our night was saved

Dating with Kids

We squeezed in two dates
And we talked for a bit then
Life pushed us over

Relative Time

If only I knew
Then what the next decade brings
Would I devour time?

Off to Camp

With bags packed, they wait
To board the camp bus with friends
Nerves run down their cheeks

Photos

With one click, time stops
A slice of time and senses
It traps what’s not there

Shopping Cycles

Summer into fall
We shop for camp and for school
Halloween is next

Retreat

A long, work-filled week
Came to an end but took with
It our awake time

Summer Heat

When I was younger
I don’t recall burning days
Maybe I missed them

Technology Workers

Words roll off our tongues
And they may sound precisely wise
But it’s all a show
