They dawdled as I
Pondered a last bus picture
But they ran too late

With an old-fashioned
In hand, I mingled a bit
Until the clock won

Finally time slowed
And we enjoyed the moments
Before life returned

The air sliced our skin
But we kept moving forward
Despite blue knuckles

The city slows down
When cabins lure people in
We savor the lull

Did the shocking heat
Of the tea throw him off or
Was he just worn out?

Food and sticky notes
Not bad for a team meeting
Mission Accomplished

I thought it was gone
But winter still spits iced air
The sun just retreats
