The Leak – Day 2

There came a rapping
The city’s water guy spoke
Of our broken pipe

Really Cold Leaks

The outdoor pipes quit
Winter and it’s wicked cold
Now they ooze water

Admiration

The crispy valleys
Await the molten fluid
A fine piece of toast

Moving Parking Lot

The side streets sold out
As ice smothered the pavement
And made parking spots

Counting Challenge

We held our tickets
Watching Bill Nye from afar
More tickets than seats

Winter’s Trinity

Ice must have felt bad
The year of cold and snow’s wrath
Shellacked roads concede

Shoveling Trickery

The white sky fell down
I flung those icy snow chunks
The plows pushed them back

Storming Winter

The confused sky spit
Sleet, snow and blew icy breath
Scared blue skies away

Lunch Date

I really missed Dave
But my eyes spied the buffet
And I missed that too

Bonus Day

Others were in school
We strolled through lonesome Uptown
Slowed by the lake snow
